Our Westhill branch is located just outside of Aberdeen City in Aberdeenshire. The original proprietors, James, and Janet Steven, along with Ian and Kathleen Macintosh, set up Macintosh and Steven over 40 years ago, which had many funeral homes over Aberdeen City and Shire. Subsequently, in 2001, James and Janet set up Berriedale Funeral Home, Westhill, in the old post office until 2021; they decided to take their well-earned retirement and hand over the reins to William Paterson.
Kathleen has been in the funeral profession for over 35 years and has owned and run funeral homes all over Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, alongside her husband, Ian MacIntosh. While not only a funeral director, Kathleen also provides personalised celebrant services.
Our online form allows you to record your funeral wishes easily. Your answers will create a free Plan of Wishes which we email to you. Additional copies and changes can be arranged at any time. There is no charge for this service and we are available to chat through plans at any time: in person or over the phone.
